About Kin & Eden
A Return to What Was Always Meant to Be
Hi, I’m Ashlynn — a mama, a believer, and the heart behind Kin & Eden.
This brand was born from a quiet ache. The kind that settles in your soul when you realize the world around you is out of alignment with what you know, deep down, to be true.
I started this space because I was tired—tired of the toxic chemicals hidden in our food, clothes, and everyday products. Tired of the unspoken expectations placed on women to abandon the home in pursuit of productivity, while our children are handed off to be raised by systems that don’t always serve them. Tired of searching for answers in a world full of noise, only to be met with more confusion and contradictions.
As a Black woman, a wife, and a mother, I felt the weight of it all. And I knew I wasn’t alone.
Kin & Eden is my response. A place where we can return to what was always meant to be—a life rooted in intention, wellness, and connection. Here, I share resources, alternatives, and encouragement to help women—especially Black women—reclaim their homes, their health, and their power.
This is more than a website. It’s a movement back to the garden—back to wholeness, community, and truth.
What Kin & Eden Stands For
Kin & Eden is a return.
A return to the sacred. To simplicity. To truth.
Here, we focus on creating a life that’s whole, natural, and rooted in faith—from the products we use, to the food we eat, to how we show up in our homes.
This is about more than just clean ingredients or aesthetic wellness.
It’s about rebuilding the culture of family.
It’s about detoxing not just our homes—but our habits too.
It’s about reclaiming the beauty of motherhood, slow living, and ancestral wisdom.
It’s about coming home—to ourselves, our people, and God’s original design.

Founder, Kin & Eden
Meet the Founder
Hey, I’m Ashlynn — a mama, a creative, and the founder of Kin & Eden.
I’m so glad you’re here. This space was born out of my own journey—a slow, intentional return to what truly matters.
When I became a mom, everything shifted. I started paying closer attention to what we were bringing into our home—from the products on our shelves to the messages shaping our minds. What I found was heartbreaking: toxic ingredients marketed as “safe,” particularly in products targeted to Black women and families. The more I learned, the more I couldn’t ignore the truth—our health, our homes, and our values were under quiet attack.
So I began to strip things back. To question what I’d been told. To swap out the harmful for the nourishing. And most of all, to listen—to my intuition, to my body, and to the design God already laid out.
Kin & Eden is the result of that journey. It’s a place for women—especially Black women—who feel the same pull to live more consciously, raise their families more intentionally, and find beauty in the simple, sacred rhythms of everyday life.
My mission is to help you navigate non-toxic living without stress or perfectionism. Whether you’re just starting out or deep in your wellness journey, you’ll find practical resources, heartfelt encouragement, and a community that gets it.
You don’t have to do it all overnight. You just have to begin.
Let’s return to what was always meant to be—together.
